Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)

Assessment Practice

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) is a secondary school qualification and examination awarded on completion of grade 12 in several South Asian education systems, including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, typically following the Secondary School Certificate taken after grade 10. Administered by regional or national examination boards, HSC results are widely used for admission to undergraduate degree programs and for entrance to competitive professional courses across the region.
