Jack Halberstam

J. Jack Halberstam, born in 1961, is an American academic and author whose scholarship centers on queer theory and philosophy. Halberstam has been a professor in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University since 2017, where the role also includes work with the university's Institute for Research on Women, Gender and Sexuality.
