Language Acquisition Researchers

Linguists and psychologists who study how people acquire a first or second language, including interlanguage, the innateness of language, psycholinguistics and the psychology of the language learner. A person belongs here when the cited article names language acquisition, second language acquisition, interlanguage or psycholinguistics as the person's work. It excludes general cognitive psychologists, who sit in their own group. Their research shaped language teaching, immersion programs and the study of how learners build a second language.
