All Mnemonic and Memorization Techniques

Techniques for fixing information in memory, including the method of loci, melodic learning through song, and rote learning by repetition. A technique belongs here when the cited article defines it as a mnemonic or memorization method. It excludes the spacing and retrieval strategies and the memory models, which sit in their own groups. Such techniques trade on vivid images, rhythm and sheer repetition, and teachers use them to help students hold lists, vocabulary and facts that have no obvious structure of their own.
