Lehrplan 21 is the harmonized curriculum for compulsory schooling in the 21 German-speaking and multilingual cantons of Switzerland, developed by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK) and progressively introduced by participating cantons from 2014 to 2018. It replaced each canton's separate curriculum with a single competency-based framework covering kindergarten through the end of lower secondary school, organized around learning areas and cross-curricular themes.
