Homeschooling

Homeschooling, or home education, is the practice of educating children at home or in places other than a conventional school, typically directed by parents or tutors rather than through enrollment in a public or private school. Legal status and regulation vary widely by country, from broadly permitted and lightly regulated in the United States to restricted or prohibited in others, and the movement grew substantially in many countries from the late twentieth century onward, with a further surge during the COVID-19 pandemic.
