Tomorrow's Schools is the name given to a major restructuring of school administration in New Zealand, implemented from 1989 following the Picot Report, a government-commissioned review of education administration. It abolished the country's regional education boards and devolved governance of individual state schools to locally elected boards of trustees, fundamentally changing how New Zealand's school system was managed.
