The University of Science and Technology of China is a public university in Hefei, Anhui, China, owned by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was founded in Beijing by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in September 1958, and moved to Hefei in 1970 during the Cultural Revolution. It is part of Project 211, Project 985 and the Double First-Class Construction, and is a member of the C9 League.
