International Education

International education is a broad concept describing the movement of people, minds or ideas across political and cultural borders, made easier by globalization's steady erosion of the constraints geography places on economic, social and cultural life. It covers a wide range of learning, including formal education and informal learning such as training, exchange programs and cross-cultural communication, and can also describe a school or academic program's own reorientation toward worldmindedness as an explicit goal. International educators are responsible for designing, managing and facilitating programs that help participants engage appropriately, effectively and ethically with culturally diverse people and ideas.
