The Cisco Certified Network Associate, or CCNA, is an associate level vendor certification from Cisco Systems that validates the skills needed to administer small and medium sized computer networks. Since February 2020, Cisco has consolidated what were once several specialised CCNA tracks into a single 200-301 examination covering core networking knowledge, with no formal prerequisites, and the credential remains valid for three years before it must be renewed. It also serves as the standard stepping stone toward Cisco's higher, professional level CCNP certifications.
