US Supreme Court Decision

US Supreme Court Decision groups rulings of the United States Supreme Court that shaped education policy, separate from the legislation or programs that followed from them. Belongs here: a ruling such as Plessy v. Ferguson, which upheld racial segregation under separate but equal in 1896, Brown v. Board of Education, which overturned that doctrine for public schools in 1954, and Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard, which ended race conscious college admissions in 2023. Does not belong here: a statute passed in response to a ruling, grouped under US Federal Legislation, and a lower court or non-US court decision.
