Student Voice

Critical, Moral and Equity-Oriented Theories

Student voice refers to the individual and collective perspectives and actions of students within learning and education, treated in schools both as a guiding metaphor and as a practical concern. Education technologist Dennis Harper described student voice as giving students the ability to influence learning, including its policies, programs, contexts, and guiding principles.
