Andreas Christian Møller (1796 to 1874) was a Norwegian lathe operator and teacher of the Deaf who founded the first school for the Deaf in Norway. Because of that founding role he is considered the father of Deaf education in Norway. He came to teaching from a manual trade, working as a lathe operator, and the school he founded was the first of its kind in his country. The AC Møller Sign Language Center bears his name today, which keeps his contribution visible in Norway's Deaf community.
