Liz Jackson (educationalist)

Liz Jackson is an American scholar of the philosophy of education and educational theory who works in Hong Kong. She is a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong, where she holds the Karen Lo Eugene Chuang Professorship in Diversity and Equity and serves as Associate Dean for research. She joined that university in 2012, became a tenured associate professor in 2017, and directed its Master of Education programme and its Comparative Education Research Centre. From 2020 to 2023 she was a professor at the Education University of Hong Kong, where she led the Virtues in Ethics East and West Platform. She is a Fellow and past president of the Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia.
