Roslyn "Roz" Goodstein Rosen is an American advocate for the Deaf community and a leading figure in deaf education administration. Born in 1943, she served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Gallaudet University, becoming the first Deaf woman to hold a provost-level position there. She directed the National Center on Deafness from 2006 to 2014 and served as executive director of the Council on Education of the Deaf from 2000 to 2006. Rosen was also president of the National Association of the Deaf from 1990 to 1993 and a board member of the World Federation of the Deaf from 1995 to 2003. In 2017 she authored the children's book Deaf Culture Fairy Tales.
