Approach entities are named teaching methods and pedagogical models this atlas documents, from foundational learning-theory paradigms such as behaviourism, cognitivism, constructivism, humanism and liberationism through named movements such as Montessori education, Reggio Emilia and Universal Design for Learning, grouped into six bands: Learning Theory Paradigms, Philosophies of Education, Named Pedagogical Models and Movements, Active and Experiential Learning Strategies, Personalized and Mastery-Oriented Design, and Equity and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy.
