The Paideia Proposal is a K-12 educational reform plan first put forward in 1982 by the philosopher Mortimer Adler. Adler, a prolific author, returned to the Paideia Proposal's call for a single, rigorous, liberal arts based curriculum for every student across a number of his later books.
