Game, Simulation and Flipped Learning Strategies

Strategies that change the form of the class through play, simulation or inverted lecture and homework, including game-based learning, simulation-based learning and the flipped classroom. A strategy belongs here when the cited article defines it through games, simulation or moving lecture outside class time. It excludes project and collaborative methods, which sit in their own groups. Teachers choose these strategies when they want class time for practice and play, and when risk or cost makes real settings hard to use for learning.
